MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. In laymans terms it can help reduce the jolt in the event of impact which can help in reducing the possibility of more serious injury.
The Qualifier DLX is a sports touring based helmet that ticks all the boxes , with a lightweight polycarbonate shell made in 3 different shell sizes to suit all riders. The interior liner is removable and washable to keep it clean and fresh, and finished with a Padded wind collar to keep out the wind and noise. The helmet comes fitted with a Bell Transitions visor as standard, a road legal visor that will darken with increasing sun light, doing away with the need to carry separate visors when touring or riding in changeable conditions.
Certified to ECE 22.05 standard
Please note: Any images showing a dark visor are for illustration purposes only. The helmet will come with a transitions visor which will change depending on the weather conditions. In sunny weather, the visor will tint, in dark conditions, the visor will go clear.
