Shoei Germany have donated a Shoei X-Spirit 2 Marquez 2 TC-1 helmet to the charity Riders for Health to be auctioned off, with the proceeds going helping with the important work Riders for Health do. This replica of the helmet used by international MotoGP star Marc Marquez will be signed by the man himself following the MotoGP in the Czech Republic on August 25.
Riders for Health is the official charity of MotoGP and works towards transforming African healthcare by providing health workers and ambulances across the most remote reaches of the continent. Jeanette Wragg, the manager of Riders for Health expressed her gratitude about the donation, explaining that “the money raised from this auction will make a real difference to people across rural Africa.”
The helmet alone is worth just under a thousand pounds, so don’t miss out winning a top class, premium piece of equipment, as well as contributing to an important cause.
What’s more, the winner will be sent their specific size to ensure they can actually make use of the helmet, not use it purely as a display piece.
The X-Spirit 2 helmet model is an impressively light and aerodynamic unit, fitted with Shoei’s low pressure air management system for consistent comfort and airflow control. If you are unlucky in the auction but this premium helmet has taken your fancy, you can pick one up here.
The helmet will be available for bidding on eBay for up for a total of ten days, from the 9th to the 19th of July.
